McQuay—displayed its products with various technologies such as magnetic bearing, new refrigerants, air purification, composite evaporative cooling, fresh air, and building automation. McQuay had three products on the Innovation Product award list, namely the WMTC magnetic-bearing centrifugal chiller, the MAC150ER5LH

air-cooled inverter heat pump chiller for floor heating and air conditioning of high-end villas, and a water-cooled heat pump modular chiller featuring composite evaporative cooling.

TICA—won three Innovation Product awards for its GHP air conditioner unit, air-cooled inverter modular heat pump chiller, and inverter smart residential ASHP. On the first day of CRH 2020, TICA released its new V- Force series air-cooled inverter modular heat pump chiller. With the theme of ‘Global Anti-epidemic Actions’, the company also brought to the expo three anti-epidemic products.

Highly—showed its full range of products such as inverter and non-inverter models of air conditioners for residential and light commercial applications, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment. Of them, a rotary compressor with dual independent suction and discharge ports can reduce the heat exchange difference between the evaporation and condensation sides in the air conditioning system, reducing room temperature fluctuations and improving comfort during defrosting.

ebm-papst—won the Innovation Product award for its RadiPac centrifugal fan with a vibration damping system. The company also featured its new-generation RadiCal 630 centrifugal fan that can significantly increase the energy conversion rate, and reduce power consumption by more than 10% compared  with the previous generation. Since the loss of airflow in the impeller is reduced, the noise of the fan is also reduced.

CAR—is one of organizers of CRH Expo and introduced its activities such as carrying out academic exchanges. As an example of such activities, CAR held its unit member conference in 2020 on August 16 to 18, prior to CRH, with the theme of ‘Continuing the past and opening up the future’ in Chongqing, which was attended by about 280 experts, scholars, member representatives, and university professors and students.

Midea—held an exchange activity with its high-end customers and invited them to its Chongqing production base during CRH, under the theme of ‘Focus on profession and create industry green smart solutions’. The visitors fully observed the production process used for Midea’s centrifugal and screw chillers.

GMCC & Welling — held a seminar on compressor application technology and gave an insight into its single- and twin-cylinder inverter rotary compressors. They also introduced the research results of the seasonal energy efficiency of inverter compressors in air conditioners, which showed that GMCC &  Welling inverter compressors can improve the SEER by 15%.

Smardt— displayed its water-cooled magnetic-bearing centrifugal chiller at TICA’s booth. The chiller achieved a high IPLV of over 10.5 and a maximum cooling capacity of 3,200 tons, which is currently second to none in the industry.

Bitzer—showcased its compressors for medium- and low-temperature refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps, and marine systems.

CRAA—promoted its activities such as consultation services, industry statistics, international cooperation, information communication, certifications, publications, standards establishment, hot-topic research, and Internet services.

Panasonic—exhibited its full lineup of products and technologies from small to large air conditioners and fresh air systems, which contribute to its ‘Quality Air for Life’ concept. Of them, the EV series air conditioners won the Innovation Product award. The EV series adopts inverter heat pump rotary compressor with enhanced vapor injection (EVI) technology, which maintains 90% of heating performance at low temperatures down to –12ºC. The EV series also adopts nanoe X air purifying technology.

DunAn—divided its booth into four areas to exhibit valves, heat exchangers, VRFs, and modular chillers and thermal management systems for new energy vehicles, providing customers with over- all solutions for energy-saving HVAC&R systems. Taking valves as an example, DunAn launched N-type electronic expansion valves with ultra-low noise and high durability, P-type internal balanced electronic expansion valves, and stainless steel four-way valves, among others.

Fusheng— displayed its compressors such as the SST series single-unit two-stage inverter screw for low temperatures and SDL series special two-stage screw for low temperatures. It also launched the high-efficiency CSR750 VV screw compressor, a new star product. Other exhibited compressors included magnetic-bearing centrifugal, CSR series screw, and SRL series single-stage screw for low temperatures.

Honeywell—unveiled a new generation of Solstice series refrigerants with high performance and low GWPs. All the products Honeywell showcased this time are widely used in the fields of refrigeration equipment, residential and commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, car air conditioners, chillers, and electronic cooling systems, and can meet current and future industry needs.

Danfoss—exhibited a series of products with low-GWP refrigerants. Its products for R32 applications included the DSF non-inverter scroll compressor with intermediate discharge valves (IDV) and DCRE filter driers for larger air conditioning units. Other exhibits included ETS Colibri electronic expansion valve, system protectors, and piping components.

Snowman—participated in the expo as a one-stop solution service provider and exhibited RefComp brand CO2 reciprocating compressors such as SPS series and SPT series as well as SRM brand NH3 semi-hermetic screw compressors.

CAREL—won the Innovation Product award for its E2V-Z electronic expansion valve in the refrigeration equipment category, thanks to its high control capacity and the innovative design of the single valve body for all different cartridge sizes. Eason Cheng of CAREL made a presentation titled ‘From high efficiency controlling to full management – CO2 commercial refrigeration system control and supervisory management’ at its booth.

Panasonic Appliances Compressor (Dalian) —won the Innovation Product award for its CO2 two-stage rotary com- pressor for train air conditioners. The company also introduced other compressors such as R32 models.

CME—exhibited a centrifugal chiller that adopts a magnetic-bearing inverter com- pressor. The chiller achieves a cooling capacity of 350 tons or 1,231 kW  and the COP exceeds China’s Grade 1 energy efficiency level.

Emerson—showed three industry hot topics, namely compressor product solutions using environmentally friendly refrigerants, ASHP solutions, and Copeland overall solutions. Of its compressors with environmentally friendly refrigerants, R32 commercial inverter models, R290 heat pump hot water special inverter models, R290 horizontal inverter models, and CO2 Digital Scroll models were displayed in the Ozone2Climate Roadshow exhibition area.

Xingxing— has three manufacturing bases in China with an annual production capacity of nearly 6 million units of cold storage and other refrigeration equipment. Its cold storage systems include high-end green smart models, small-to large-capacity models, low-to high-temperature models, among other models. The company also provides engineering design, installation and commissioning services, project management, after-sales service, among others.

Hengxiang—is dedicated to supporting materials related to HAVC  systems  such as for insulation and sound absorption. The company introduced advanced Assos fine control micro foaming technology that includes high precision molecular-controlled micro foaming formula technology, fine control technology, precision control technology training, and precision extrusion technology.

Kriwan—has been providing expertise in the protection of industrial machinery and systems against overloading and operational breakdown for the past 50 years. It displayed INT280-60 Diagnose that monitors and controls the oil level in refrigeration compressors in order to solve the problem of poor oil distribution in multi compressor packs.

Square Technology— is a Chinese supplier of quick freezers and cold chain integrated solutions. It featured the new MN-NCC-F3 inverter refrigeration system developed with the help of Mayekawa for the design and quality management. The new product adopts CO2 refrigerant for indirect cooling and NH3 refrigerant for the machine room, reducing the temperature difference between the evaporation temperature of NH3 and the condensation temperature of CO2, and the NH3 charging volume.

Burr Oak Tool—provides professional machines and tools for the air conditioning and refrigeration, battery energy, pipe processing, and other industries. The company featured the FP-1400 high-performance press and line machine for the heat transfer industry, with a 160-ton rating for increased fin stamping capacity.

heodool—exhibited its self-developed air curtains, vertical-type quick heaters, ASHPs, etc. In the Product Scene Experience Zone, the GS6 series air curtain with an automatic sensor was set up and demonstrated for visitors. When a visitor approached within a range of 1 to 2 meters from the GS6, the sensor automatically turned on the GS6, which turned off automatically 20 seconds after the visitor left.

Yongan Motor—is specialized in motors designed for residential, commercial, and automobile air conditioners. The company exhibited DC fan motors for VRF systems.

Ruiboen—is an air purification specialist based in Fujian, which became UK-based Michael Energy Solutions’ designated production base for air purification products and has been engaged in all sales activities in China according to the authorized brand name of Micro’ AirSun since 2017. Its exhibits included full heat exchangers, air fans, dehumidifiers, etc.

Beifeng—has been manufacturing refrigeration equipment for 30 years, and has its headquarters in Shengzhou. The company brought its full range of refrigeration equipment to CRH, including various types of compressors and condensers.
